Enrico Della Casa, President of the Union Européenne de Cyclisme: ”These Championships demonstrated not only the excellent technical level of the young European athletes, but also the ability of a city like Anadia to host and promote an event of this magnitude.
I would like to sincerely thank the national teams for their participation, the organisers for their impeccable work, the Portuguese Cycling Federation, with its President Candido Barbosa, and the entire local community, with the President of the Camara Municipal d'Anadia Maria Teresa Cardoso and Vice-President Jorge Sampaio, for their warm welcome. This event has received a lot of media coverage and has left a strong mark on cycling and this region, which loves it in all its forms”.
