The 2025 edition of the UEC MTB Youth European Championships (Under 15 and Under 17) in Jönköping (Sweden) ended today with the Cross-country races. This year 719 girls and boys from 28 countries took part.
The final medal table saw the Netherlands come out on top with 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze, followed by Switzerland (4 gold and 1 silver) and Italy (2 gold and 1 silver).
Among the most remarkable performances of this edition were the double victories of Yaëlle Klauser (Switzerland), gold medallist in the Short Track and the XCO Girls 15, Davide Quattrone (Italy), winner in the Short Track and the XCO Boys 14 and of Julia Herman (Pays Bas) winner in the Short Track and XCO Girls 14.

In Jönköping, we witnessed some spectacular races, but also moments of sharing that go beyond the competition. The number and quality of the participants demonstrate the success of this formula, which represents an important stage in the growth of young cyclists.
I would like to thank the organising committee led by Eskil Laago and the many volunteers in his group, whose passion and dedication were key to the success of this edition, as well as the Swedish Cycling Federation and its President Stefhan Klang, for the professionalism and enthusiasm with which they supported and accompanied the event.
